Rules for Posting in The Library
1. This forum tends to lean towards a Fantasy/Horror theme, and it would be much appreciated if the atmosphere were kept that way. In other words, no urban fantasy, no science fiction, and no 'romantic fluff' or as I like to call it, 'porn'.
2. Vampires here do not sparkle. I would like to make that perfectly clear! If the word "Twilight" even slips from the tip of your tongue in reference you will be found and assassinated or, if I am feeling particularly cruel, you will be found, skewered, and roasted. Slowly. Over dying coals. And your offensive tongue shall be removed with a heated knife.
3. That said, I suppose it leads up to the next rule - violence is ok, graphic description is welcome but please put a rating beforehand as sort of a forewarning to others who may read. Sex is ok, if it is well-written and it has its place then we don't mind at all. As for language, please keep it to a minimum.
4. No flaming - I will not tolerate that. Criticism is welcome and encouraged, but be polite about it.
5. No textspeak in your writing, please, it's horribly distracting and difficult to comprehend
Rules for Roleplaying in Worlds of Their Own
1. No godmoding - i.e. no controlling another player's characters, no killing off another player's character without their permission. No ridiculously powerful characters who have so much power that basically nothing can hurt them. It sucks the fun from the game.
2. Please no discussing your personal life in the gameplaying forums, it ruins the illusion for other players.
3. No porn in the signatures or avatars, thank you!!
4. Again, please no textspeak. It lacks imagination and we're sure you can do much better than that.
5. Please try to keep up with your account and log on regularly. Once a week is ideal, but since we all know life can get in the way of a lot of things, please at least try to log in every 2 weeks. If you are absent for longer than a month without notice then your account will be deleted, but please feel free to register again!
6. Please limit yourself to 2 characters per account. If you wish to have more then please contact the administer about it.
7. If two people have a thread going, and you wish to take part in it, please message and ask them if it's all right before you intrude upon their game. It will make the forum run a lot smoother.
8. Of course, we wish for our players to enjoy themselves, so have fun!
